Betty Marie Morris

Mrs. Morris was born June 18, 1929 in LaGrange, GA to the late Edward C. Dollar and Ina Verne Dukes Dollar. She devoted her life to her family and tending to the needs of her household. Mrs. Morris loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Before declining health, she faithfully attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Morris; sons, Curtis W. Morris and Danny Ray Morris; grandchild, Joshua Morris; and five siblings.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy (Debbie) Morris, Tony (Donna) Morris, and Kenny (Marthalou) Morris; grandchildren, Kevin Morris, Brad Morris, Brian Morris, Aimee Morris, Jonathan Morris, Jennifer Morris, Matthew Morris, Ashley Morris, and Stevie Morris; great grandchildren, Cindy Wisyanski and Hugh Wisyanski; sister, Bonnie Mosteller; brothers, Amos Dollar and Donnie Dollar; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of family and friends will be 2:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Billy Earle officiating. Burial will follow in Hillview Annex Cemetery.
