Brandi was born October 24, 1977, in LaGrange, GA to Marvin Dewayne Borden and the late, Brenda Gail Hendrix.

In her own words, your most significant lesson was your last mistake. For those who claim life is not straightforward, I counter that it is not excessively complicated either. Begin today with a renewed attitude, and you will be astonished at the profound impact of that decision. Make amends, even if it is solely to yourself. Express your love abundantly. Embrace someone who offers you a hug, even when it feels awkward, and allow those warm, fuzzy feelings to resonate. This world can be challenging, but do not become overly jaded. Be the supportive haven you wish you had. Treat the inner child, who did not receive the care they deserved, with kindness. Reflect on the person that child became. Hopefully, you have evolved into a fearless, amazing, and determined individual. Ideally, you have chosen forgiveness, even in the absence of reciprocation. Hopefully, you have become a better version of yourself, despite the treatment you received.
In addition to her father, Brandi is survived by her husband, Brian Luke; children, BreAnna (Jaiden) Brazil, Leanna (Joey) Mahlbacher, Kelsey Luke, Gabriel Luke; extra son, Jacob Sharman; grandmother. Nanny Flo Hendrix; sisters, Jessica Awbrey and Valerie Smith; brothers, Jason (Kelly) Brazil and Thomas Steele; many other Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
