Brenda C. Rogers

Brenda was born June 18, 1954 in LaGrange, GA to the late Elec Watson and Effie Mary Jane Watson Lester. She was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ Apostolic. Brenda loved the Lord, her church, and her family with all her heart. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Joe Rogers; and siblings, Kenneth Watson, Virginia Haley and David Waters; and aunt, Lelia McCormick.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Rogers, Joseph Rogers and Brenda Faye Rogers; grandchildren, Mason Nolan Rogers, Breanna Brugos, Diondre Brugos, Tony Brugos, Caleb Folds, Daniel Folds, Zackery S. Nixon, Michael McMillian, Jessica McMillian, Charlie Ransom, Chloe Rogers, and Brianna Rogers; several great grandchildren; siblings, Judy Scott, Darlene Borden, Jerry Watson, Shirley Watson, and Larry Watson; multiple nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00pm Thursday, June 24, 2021 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Robert Longshore and Rev. Joel Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
