Mr. Buford E. Roberts,Jr., 92, of LaGrange, GA passed away Friday, May 09, 2014 at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Roberts was born April 15, 1922 in Donalsonville, GA, son of the late Buford E. Roberts, Sr. and Fannie Mae Pace Roberts. He was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ and the President of Colonial Baking Company, before retiring. Mr. Roberts was a Mason, Shriner and he was a member of the 32nd Scottish Rite. He served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sisters, Faye Whelchel and Betty Whittle.

Survivors include his wife, Louise L. Roberts; daughter, Linda Roberts of Ontario, CA; son, Phillip Roberts of Rohnert Park, CA; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 11, 2014 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Gary Kirkendall officiating. Gathering of family and friends will be from 2:30 p.m until service time. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to LaGrange Hospice or Broad Street Church of Christ Missions in memory of Buford E. Roberts.

Louise Linda and Phillip it is with our deepest sympathy hearing of Uncle Bufords passing. I want yall to know that i truly loved him and always enjoyed our talks during his haircuts. He was a great person andi will miss him coming and visiting with me. I hope i pleased him all these years cutting his hair. He gave me a great big hug on his last visit and he told me he loved me. He was a special man and a great pleasure to know.I love all of you and God Bless
