Carole Grace Marcum

Carole was born on April 3, 1936, in Delbarton, West Virginia to the late James Syrus Marcum and Bertha Crum Marcum.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, James Dura Marcum, Dennis Elmer Marcum, Irene M. Cockrell, Rush Marcum, Leonard Marcum, Mary M. Joseph, Romaine M. Tabler, and E. Staton Marcum.

While being raised in West Virginia she moved to Texas in 1962 where she lived most of her life.

When she wasn’t traveling, she was at a tearoom, playing bridge, or spending time with her family and friends. Carole was a simple woman but was always dressed the part and never missed a hair or nail appointment. On Sundays she could be found in front of the tv watching her beloved Cowboys. While in Texas, she developed friendships that turned into part of her extended family.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
