Carolyn Elizabeth Brooks

Mrs. Brooks was born April 8, 1943, in LaGrange, North Carolina, daughter of the late Dallas Kennedy and Olive Edith Carter Kennedy. She was employed with Duracell as a High Speed Cell Line Operator. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her son, Sean Harrington.

Survivors include her husband, Aaron Brooks, LaGrange, GA; three children, Dennis (Tracy) Smith, Rogerlyn Wilson, and Shelly Harrington, all of LaGrange, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Jenna Folds, Jeri Graham, Magan Harrington, Brent Rushing, Brennon Harrington, Seana Webb, Bradon Zapata; five great grandchildren; three step children; four step grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Snead and Sue Taylor, both of North Carolina; other family and friends.

The funeral Services will be at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, August 1, 2013 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel, with the gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service time. The family will be at the home of her son, Dennis Smith at 102 Waters Edge Dr., LaGrange, Ga 30240.
