Born on January 2, 1948, in Porterdale, Georgia, Cathy was the daughter of the late James T. McCullers and the late Frances Norton McCullers. She spent her early childhood in Milstead, Georgia, where her parents worked for Callaway Mills, before moving to LaGrange in 1960. She graduated from LaGrange High School in 1965 and later attended Reinhardt College.
Cathy began her career as a beautician at Katter’s Hair Salon before dedicating herself to her greatest calling—being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a faithful member of Beulah United Methodist Church.
Cathy had a joyful spirit and a love for life that was contagious. She was a devoted Clemson Tigers football fan and rarely missed a game. She loved music, enjoyed singing karaoke with family and friends, and was always ready to share a laugh. More than anything, she was fiercely devoted to those she loved. Her loyalty, kindness, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
To her two grandsons, Quin and Bo, she wasn’t just Grandma—she was “Sunshine.” That special nickname perfectly reflected the warmth, encouragement, and unconditional love she brought into their lives. They were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her devoted husband, William F. Holle III; her son, William F. “Erick” Holle IV and his wife, Brittany; and her beloved grandsons, William F. “Quin” Holle V and Bo Gregory Holle.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 1010 Mooty Bridge Road, LaGrange, Georgia. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Beulah United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice in memory of Catherine McCullers Holle.
Though Cathy will be deeply missed, her love, laughter, unwavering devotion to her family, and the sunshine she brought into so many lives will never be forgotten.
All arrangements are made by Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 1010 Mooty Bridge Road, LaGrange, GA 30240.
