Mr. Kerr was born on November 25, 1931 in Dunleary, Kentucky to the late Lemon Kerr and the late Sarah Hackney Kerr. He attended Elkhorn City High School where he received his diploma in 1951. He joined the Army immediately following his high school career and served for three years. Mr. Kerr worked as a Warehouse Forklift Operator for Jewel Foods. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and loved sports.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kerr is predeceased by his siblings, Ample Kerr, James Kerr, William Kerr, Randall Kerr, and Eugene Kerr.
Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Rhonda and Donald Givins; son, Jeffrey Kerr; two grandsons, Benny Givins and Beau Givins; great-granddaughter, Charley Givins; sister, Janice Picklesimer; sister in-law, Linda Kerr.
At the family’s request, memorial services for Mr. Charles Benny Kerr will be announced at a later date.
