Clyde R. Fincher

Mr. Fincher was born December 24, 1931 in Randolph County, AL, son of the late Dewey Fincher and Lauzie Johnson Fincher. He was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA and was very faithful in supporting his church and missions. Mr. Fincher was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was employed with Eastern Airlines before retiring. Mr. Fincher loved and cherished his family and was a very loving, devoted, and faithful husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joyce Fincher; son, Bobby (Eunice) Fincher; daughter, Tami (Charles) Elliott, all of Sharpsburg, GA; grandson, Brandon (Mary) Bentley; great grandson, Austin Bentley; one sister, Geraldine Thompson; two brothers, Handley Fincher and Johnny Fincher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church, Fayetteville, GA with Dr. Randy Wood officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 10, 2013 in Restlawn Memory Gardens, LaGrange, GA. The gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church, 1077 Hwy 314, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
