

Brian was born November 22, 1954, in Manchester, GA to the late Curtis Williamson and Miriam King Williamson.
Brian was raised in Greenville, GA and graduated from Greenville High School in 1972. He received a baseball and basketball scholarship from Berry College where he attended and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Physical Education. Upon graduating, he moved back to Meriwether County and then went to work for Milliken and Company where he remained for 32 years and retired. After retirement, Brian went to work for Troup County Schools in the Transportation Department as a driver, and then as a Zone Supervisor.
In his younger years, he was a champion water skier and would participate in many tournaments at Robin Lake in Callaway Gardens. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and camping. He devoted a decade of his life as a volunteer coach with Troup County Parks and Recreation for various sports. He also was a travel softball coach. He planted and maintained large gardens on his property in Greenville. After his retirements, he moved back to Greenville on what he would call “the family farm” where he enjoyed the farming life, the outdoors and most of all, his grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his wife, Mandy Williamson; daughter, Amanda Howse (Donald); grandchildren, Cannon and Cade Howse; siblings, Linda Gosdin, Jon Williamson (Teresa), Lisa Dodds (Marion) and Benjamin Williamson.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Greenville Baptist Church. The Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 PM. There will be a reception held at Mountville Baptist Church following the service.
