Dan Ward

Dan was born on April 27, 1946, in Villa Rica, Georgia, to the late Daniel Albert Ward and Minnie Lee Ward, and grew up in LaGrange. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. His love for Auburn never faded, and he was happiest watching his Auburn Tigers play. Dan worked at Milliken for more than 35 years before retiring.

Dan was an intelligent man and a devout Christian. His faith was the center of his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church and served as a Gideon, helping put God's Word in the hands of others.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patti Ward; his children, Lee Ward (Lane), Cris Ward (Melissa), Doree O'Neal, Jedd McConnell (Nicole), and Abbey Fuller (Brett); and 13 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday September 19th, at First Baptist Church on the Square, LaGrange GA, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A Gathering Of Family And Friends will start at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International.
