Mr. Daniel was born August 3, 1948 in Franklin, GA, son of Willie Zelma Nelms Daniel and the late Andrew Thomas Daniel. Mr. Daniel was a former teacher and wrestling coach for Troup High School and was known by everyone as “Coach Daniel”. He later moved to Allen, TX where he was employed as a teacher and wrestling coach before moving back to LaGrange, GA.
Survivors in addition to his mother, Zelma Daniel of LaGrange, GA, include his wife, Debbie Daniel of LaGrange, GA; son, Dusty Daniel of LaGrange, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Ryan Brady of Senoia, GA; grandchildren, Landon Brady and Kiley Brady; brothers, John Daniel of Tennessee and Thomas Daniel of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Three Life Ministries, 3472 Hogansville Road, LaGrange, GA 30241 with Reverend Frank Barnes and Reverend Josh Rye officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mr. Dariel Wayne Daniel.
