Mrs. Ellen Algalene “Angie” Rearden, 81, of LaGrange, GA passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Rearden was born September 30, 1937 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late John William Noles and Edna Ruth Brown Noles. She was employed with West Point Pepperell for over 50 years and was the owner of Angie’s Greenhouse.

Survivors include the love of her life, Joe C. Rearden; brother, J.W. Noles, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Fuller, Pamela Davis, Nonnie (Eldridge) Lumpkin all of LaGrange, GA, and Joyce Devier (Clint) Looser of Dothan, AL; step daughter, Debra Ruf; step grandson, Jonathan Cochran; 2 step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2019 in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Max McCord and Rev. Ben Turner officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA.

Joe, I just found out about Angie. Teresa and I were so sorry to hear about her passing. We always look forward to visiting with you all to get our Christmas flowers. It was like visiting with family! You all were always so kind to us and so helpful with our plants!!!! We will miss Angie, but you are in our thoughts at this time, We will be in touch in the next few weeks. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I Have such Precious Memories of My Aunt Aggie~She Always Put Family 1st~MaMa (Joyce Devier Looser) always said I should have been her Child, because I was just like her, being the 1st Grandchild & Niece, I always held onto her pants leg where ever she went. Bartley's Ferry, Camping & Fishing, Carnivals or just for a Walk in the Woods~She had Family Thanksgiving at Her Home for Decades & Not Just Family~Anyone that wanted to come or Had No Where To Go~That was some of the Best eating I ever had & Aunt Aggie taught Me How to be a Good Cook. She passed Her 2 Green Thumbs to Me & I am so Thankful because She taught Me how to Feed My Family~I Could Go On & On~But We Will Remember Aunt Aggie~For Her Love of Family & Friends~Her Love of Cooking & Growing Beautiful Flowers & Plants~Her Hard Work Ethic~& Football~She was a Great Woman & When She Loved She Loved with All Her Being~~~She Will Never Be Forgotten~& All Her Family Will Be Her Loving Legacy~~~
