Eugene Thomas Gagnon Sr.

Mr. Gagnon was born January 27, 1942 in East Orange, NJ, son of the late Eugene James Gagnon and Elizabeth Marie Kenlein Gagnon. He was Catholic by faith and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force before retiring after 20 years of service. Following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Gagnon was employed with military contact companies Aeronautics Corp and Bendix Corp in Saudi Arabia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Olivia S. Moore, 3 sisters, and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Gagnon; children, Allison Renee Chevela (Phillip), Eugene T. Gagnon Jr. (Elizabeth), Michael Shane Gagnon (Yvonne), and Jessica Ann Marie Coleman (Robert); grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Cody, Tiffany, Angelica, Jessica Dakota, Phillip, Cheyenne, Abigail, Emily, Naomi, Sarah Joy, Holly, Riley Davis, and Brianna; and great grandchildren, Veronica, Cassandra, Toby, Serenity, and Adam.

Funeral services, with military honors, will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, GA. The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 9:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
