Ms. Evelyn was truly one of a kind and very much different than I first imagined she would be before I began caring for her. She is/was the kindest person that I have EVER known. I'm sure many others will agree. I used to tell her that she just thinks she needed my help. She doesn't realize that I needed her more than she needed me. She taught me so very much in our few short years together. It was truly a privilege to spend time with her during her last years. I loved her as if she was my own, and hope that she knew that. She touched so many lives in her 90 years on this earth. She has truly left a legacy clearly seen in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that I know will carry on for generations to come.
I could go on & on, but to the Mansour's- THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS BEAUTIFUL & SPECIAL LADY WITH ME!!! My only regret is not meeting you all sooner! Love you guys!

As I read Ms Evelyn’s bio, I see “ Amor Sapientia Verta ” Sorority. (I looked up the Latin, and don’t understand it exactly.) The words are Love, Wisdom, Purpose, I think. Right or wrong, the words suit her as I remember her.

Ms. Evelyn was always gracious and charming to me and my friends as we joined Luke and Mark for varied activities at the house. From playing billiards to building parade floats to Mansour Bowl Football; we always felt welcome and valued when in her presence.

Her kindness at St Peters is legendary, and I always treasure the warm greeting I would receive when I visited LaGrange.

God Bless you and your family, Ms. Evelyn!!

Barbara and I will always remember and always looked forward to seeing Mrs Mansour on the sidewalk waving us on as we were running. Sometimes we stopped and talked and she would say "come and in and have some water". We did and always had a wonderful visit. What a wonderful person and we'll always have that loving memory.

Miss Evelyn was so gracious and welcoming when I joined St. Peter's in LaGrange so many years ago. She was also my matchmaker. She made sure I met a handsome, tall gentleman from church, Ted. We've been married over 20 years now. She was such a dear, sweet woman.
