Travis Estes was born June 6, 1939 in Troup County Georgia, to the late Everett P. Estes and Nancy Lucas Bryant. He was a Christian by faith and loved the Lord. Travis Estes owned and operated a business in the Houston, Texas area for many years. When he retired he and his wife moved to Missouri and enjoyed many years together on their cattle ranch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Berry Estes and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John Lucas.
Survivors include his three children, Cassandra Estes (Gregory) Austin, Keely Estes Harmon, and Jacqueline Estes, also sisters, Luticia Estes (Steve) Black and Karen Bryant (Bill) Fineran; brothers, Mark Cleveland Bryant and Randy O’Neal (Margie) Bryant, ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Monday, May 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Pastor Jimmy McMillian and Pastor Kircio Mota officiating. Burial will follow in the Bass Family Cemetery.
