Freda Shuford Warlick

She was born in Lagrange, Georgia, on September 25, 1941, to the late Thomas Fredrick (Fred) Shuford and Adeline Loyd Shuford.

Being a hard-working woman, she never quit. When her day was over taking care of the babies at her daycare, she was busy cleaning her house or yard. As a bit of a perfectionist, when she raked the yard there better not be single leaf left. She was always on the go. Never taking a break.

Freda’s family was of utmost importance to her. She not only raised many children at her day care, but she always made sure her own children had their time with her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Laurianne (Jeff) Sakal, Lee (Joey) Marlow, and Robyn (Jimmy) Mulliniks, Sister, Marianne Middleton, as well as 11 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family. Along with her best friends, Laquisha Gilbert, Linda Attaway, and Mona Gamble.

She is preceded by her husband, Johnny Martin Warlick and her sister, Lollie Shuford Foster.

Services will be held at Loyd Presbyterian Church at 550 Upper Glass Bridge Rd. LaGrange, GA 30240 on Tuesday, August 12. The family will accept friends beginning at 1:00 PM with a service starting at 2:00 PM, with a graveside service to follow.
