Garon Lewis Glover

Mr. Glover was born July 24, 1934 in Arnco, son of the late Lewis Cliff and Ruby S. Glover, formerly of Franklin. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was the Retired Police Chief of College Park. Mr. Glover was a member of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church and was a member of F&AM Lodge 454.

He is survived by his wife, Mary George Glover; a daughter, Susan Glover; brothers, Donald and Jerry Glover; sister, Malone Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will gather at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour and immediately following the service on Sunday to receive friends. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. in the Striffler-Hamby Chapel with Dr. Harold Lawrence officiating. A private burial with be in the Franklin City Cemetery.

The family respectfully requests that all flowers be omitted and those desiring may contribute to the First United Methodist Church (401 Broad St., LaGrange, GA 30240) in memory of Garon Lewis Glover.
