Herb was born to Ivan and Lois Dremann on January 28, 1959, in Princeton, Illinois.
Growing up on the family farm, Herb assisted in the daily work that molded him into a tenacious man. He grew up playing football and basketball for his school, fueling his competitive spirit. Family and childhood friends knew him as "Herby," exuding a whimsy and sense of fun that charmed many. After high school, Herb’s journey briefly explored college before wending his way south to travel with the musical Gonzalez Family spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. He established his roots in LaGrange, Georgia in 1982, where he began his family.
Herb was a man who cared for and loved others deeply. His heart was always open, and he dedicated his life to serving those around him, especially his beloved family. Known for his strong character and unique sense of humor, Herb brought joy and laughter to those he encountered. His quirky jokes, fatherly wisdom, strong work ethic, and gentle spirit were qualities cherished by all who knew him.
Herb’s presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched. Herb’s life was firmly built on the foundation of Christ, and his faith was evident in all that he did. His spiritual gifts blessed his church and community. He ran his race with perseverance, as described in Philippians 3:14, and we find peace in knowing that he is now reaping his heavenly reward.
Herb is survived by his father, Ivan Dremann; siblings, Nancy (John) Leichty, Mary (Randy) King, Janet (Bruce) Farra; sister-in-law Joyce (Alan) Dremann; children Cason (Jessica) Dremann, Colby (Emily) Dremann, and Taralynn Dremann; grandchild, Tinley Dremann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Dremann; brother, Alan Dremann; and wife, Kathy Dremann.
