Irene Blakeley

Mrs. Blakeley was born October 24, 1913 in Ashland, WI, daughter of the late John Pittings and Emma Matski Pittings. She was employed as a registered nurse before retiring and was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Blakeley, and a son, Eric Horton.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Joe) Thornton, Barbara Horton, and Kaye (Barry) Horton; 5 grandchildren, Joseph (Jennifer) Thornton, William (Wendy) Thornton, Kris (Stacey) Horton, Kurt Horton, and Edward (Jeannete) Horton; and 9 great grandchildren.

The family will host a memorial service at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father John Madden officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Christ The King Catholic Church, Outreach Program, P.O. Box 899, Pine Mountain, GA 31822 in memory of Mrs. Irene Blakeley.
