Jackie Diane Fryer George

Mrs. George was born August 24, 1950 in Mobile, AL to the late William Fryer and Lucille Henry Fryer. She was a homemaker and member of Hilyer Baptist Church, and was recently attending Baptist Tabernacle with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Lori Hudgins; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, William George; her children, Patti Hudgins (Mike) Johnson, Lonnie Hudgins, Jeff (Robin) Hudgins, and Josh McIntyre; step children, Tammy George, Melissa George, DeeDee Buttrum, Amber Perry, Howard (Sally) George, Joey and Ginny Dyes; grandchildren, Trae and Lacie Hudgins and Jayden McIntyre; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday, December 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, American Breast Cancer Research or the charity of your choice in memory of Jackie Fryer George.
