Jim “Jimbo” Broome, 51, a lifelong resident of LaGrange, GA peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

“Jimbo” as he was affectionately known was born December 14, 1968 in Americus, GA to Brenda Faye Wilson Broome and the late James Starke Broome, Sr. Jimbo was best known for his deep love for his family and friends. Jimbo was also a master craftsman and known for the amazing homes and structures he built. He was loved by all who knew him and will live on in the hearts of the many lives he touched.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Michelle Driver Broome; son, Jacob Broome; brother, Joey (Mandy) Broome; sister, Hollie (Jarrad) Moore; mother, Brenda Broome; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be 11:00am Friday, October 9, 2020 in Meadoway Gardens with Reverend Mark Peak officiating.
