Mike is one of the few people I have known my entire life... from diapers to school and beyond. He was a good friend! A couple of years ago I ran into him at Walmart... he was looking for something. I asked him what he was looking for and he said "my grandson". I panicked thinking a young boy was walking around missing so I asked what he was wearing, what did he look like and I told him I'd help find him. Mike laughed and with his usual smile said, "no, he's not that young". Just being his casual self!
My sincerest condolences to the entire family. Mike will be missed by many.

I will always remember Mike for his hard work and respect he always had for me. I also had high respect for him. Through all his health issues and suffering he never complained or quit his hard work ethics. Mike was an excellent father , grandfather, and husband. He will forever be missed and can never be replaced. I loved you Mike. Rest in peace. You earned your place in heaven. Bobby Yarbrough.

Words cannot cover the memories he made with Emory, me and Duane and Shannon. From him racing cars to both of our son’s racing cars, working on the cars from here to Iowa and back. He was a true friend to us, he fought a good fight, he finished the race, he’s crossed the finish line, won the race. He will be missed by the Treadwell family.
