Mrs. Whitlow was born January 11, 1937 in Troup County, GA daughter of the late Jim Brinkley Cooley and Mattie Belle Caswell Cooley. She faithfully attended Big Springs United Methodist Church and was a Manager of Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Services for 44 years. Mrs. Whitlow was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, the United Methodist Women and the Cattlemen’s Association.
Survivors include her loving husband, William C. Whitlow; sons, William C. Whitlow III, DVM and his wife Laura and John B. Whitlow, OD and his wife Donna; grandchildren, Will Whitlow, Jennifer Whitlow, John H. Whitlow, Chase Whitlow and Riley Whitlow; several other relatives and friends.
The Life Celebration Service will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Paul Blair officiating. The family and friends will gather on Tuesday at 1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Meadoway Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Springs United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Janelle Whitlow.
