Mrs. Kraemer was born May 8, 1946, in Austell, GA to the late Edward G. and Mildred Forrester Holbrook. She attended South Cobb High School in Cobb County Georgia, and graduated Salutatorian for her class. The she then attended and graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse by LaGrange College to operate the campus infirmary. While she was employed at LaGrange College she completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in psychology. Janice met her future Husband, Charles P. Kraemer, Ph.D., at LaGrange College and they were married in the College chapel on January 10, 1970. On leaving employment at LaGrange College, Janice served briefly as Director of Inservice Education at the original City-County hospital in LaGrange. Janice also taught Practical Nursing at Baldwin County Hospital in Milledgeville. After moving to Athens she directed the LPN program at St. Mary’s Hospital and, later, served as director of the LPN Program at Athens Technical School. After returning to LaGrange with her husband, Janice was employed at several daycare programs and by the Troup County School System.
Mrs. Kraemer is survived by her husband Charles P. Kraemer Ph.D., of LaGrange, daughters, Christine Louise Kraemer and her husband H Dwight Satterwhite of Athens, Georgia; Janice Elizabeth Kraemer Cash and her husband Wayne Cash of Dallas, Georgia; and sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Alan Bane of Mableton, Georgia.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 16, 2018 at LaGrange College Chapel.
