Jeanette Morgan was the most gracious woman I have ever known. I was blessed to have met Mrs. Morgan shortly after my own mother (also named Jeanette) passed away.  She was always kind and so very easy to talk to.  I am so grateful I was blessed to be able to call her "friend."  I have a deep hole in my heart where I will treasure the memories of that friendship.  Your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

"Aunt" Jeanette was so much a part of my childhood, and I will always remember her as one of the special mothers who touched my life. Janet, I cherish the memories of Booker Hills and our friendship and your Mother.

Mrs. Morgan was a childhood friend of my Mother in Law in West Point.  They reconnected when my Mother In Law was in the room at FH across from Dr. Morgan.  I never dreamed when we met this precious lady that she was in her late 80's!!  What an incredible life she has lived.  Her dedication to her husband was incredible during the time we shared with her at FH!  Prayers to the Morgan Family and you are all Blessed to have such an incredible Matriarch.  I hope one day I too can be like her!

Will so miss the last relative of my Mother's family. She was so much fun when my sister and I visited her for she could take us back to Stockbridge and visits at Aunt Mary' home. I know she  will be missed,

Imagine my surprise one day when I notice a nice little lady I had met some time before carrying a college tote bag. I casually asked where she had gotten it. She beamed her brightest smile and told me she was a Wesleyan Alumna. Come to find out she had graduated exactly 50 years before me! An instant friendship was formed. A wonderful time was to be had at alumnae weekend. Jeanette was one of the loveliest ladies I have ever met. Always bright and cheerful no matter what the day brought. Made you feel warm and loved when you were around her. She greeted my family as she would her own and was so very proud of the little girl we both hope will be our Wesleyan legacy. Thank you Jeanette for bringing sunshine to my life. You are missed my friend.

Sometimes a new friend you meet later in life is one of the best. Jeanette was such a friend to me. It turns out that Jeanette was a little girl in Atlanta and later lived in Atlanta when her husband went to Emory. I grew up there; in the neighborhoods where she had lived. We talked and laughed about her running away from home when she was a little girl. And I knew where she left and where she would go. Exactly! I know the Druid Hills area where she lived during the Emory years. We relived the old times together ... happily. We talked about going back and touring. I hope she stopped off there on the way to Heaven and saw the beautiful Carter Center, the new growth at Emory, and the 'folksiness' of Little 5 Points. What fun! I'll miss you, Friend. Mrs.Jeanette will be missed so much at Vernon Woods, she brought such  joy to all who  knew  her. She  truly inspired  me  and  was a  great  encourager. Jeanette  was a  woman  filled  with  God's  love  and she  poured  that love  out  to others. I am so saddened by her passing but I know she is in the arm's of her loving  Saviour  Jesus  Christ and I am sure glowing from ear to ear with that beautiful smile she has. I pray that God would comfort  and  strengthen her family at this time as only He can.
