Jimmie Lou was born October 7, 1934 in Randolph County, GA to the late Horrace Cobb and Sally Cadenhead Cobb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Luvern Blair and is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Russell) Chambless; son, Ferrell (Tracie) Blair; grandchildren, Rebecca (Wesley) Tharpe, Victoria (Loston) Lee, Catherine Chambless, Carson Chambless, Hutch (Molly) Blair and Haryson (Mason) Miller; great-grandchildren, Addison Lee, Gunner Lee, Kenzie Tharpe, Kylie Tharpe and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M Saturday, November 25, 2023 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. The Gathering of Family and Friends will take place 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M prior to the service on Saturday. The burial will take place after the service at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery in LaGrange, GA.
