Jo Ann T. Stoner

Ms. Stoner was born March 2, 1940 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late O.T. Thrasher and Gussie Nations Thrasher. She was a member of First Baptist Church on the Square and was the manager of LaFayette Parkway Mini Storage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Thrasher, Lemar Thrasher, and Leroy Thrasher.

Survivors include two sisters, Cathy Israel and her husband Fred of Hogansville, GA and Marlene Thrasher of Chamblee, GA; two brothers, Otis Thomas Thrasher and his wife Barbara of McDonough, GA and Richard Thrasher and his wife Dannette of Jonesboro, GA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Jack Bowen of Chamblee, GA; and her beloved pets, Max and Bones.

Memorial services will be held 3:30 P.M. Sunday, April 7, 2013 at First Baptist Church on the Square with Mr. Virgil Israel, Dr. Paul Baxter, and Reverend Paul Blair officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial service.

The family requests that all flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, Troup County Humane Society, Hospice LaGrange, or a charity of your choice in memory of Jo Ann T. Stoner.
