Joan is survived by her husband Richard Travers; children, Paul A Flowers, Linda Johnson and her husband Tim, John Flowers and Troy Flowers; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Joan was a wonderful, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very outgoing person and loved people. She will be greatly missed by all who know and love her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy Marvin Flowers; daughter, Donna Flowers; sons, Patrick Flowers and Carl Flowers and daughters-in-law, JoAnne Flowers, Tammy Flowers and Kristen Flowers.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Crestlawn Cemetery in Marietta Ga.
