Johan Thornton

Johan was born April 30, 1965 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Carl Jim Longsworth and Catherine McDonald Longsworth.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marvyl Longsworth.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Thomas Thornton; sons, Cardarious Thornton and Dardareious Reid; daughter, Ashley Thornton; grandchildren, Ava Wilson, Alani Thornton and Kaiden Bolling; brothers, Jeffrey Longsworth, Kevin (Christi) Longsworth and Stewart (Sharon) Longsworth; sister, Michelle Hartman; nieces and nephews, Johnathan Longsworth, Della Longsworth, Mason Longsworth, Andre Longsworth, Jessica (Bradley) Holaday, Zoey, Leo, Graceyn, and Bekam; Thornton family brothers and sisters, Jeffrey, Kevin, Rodney, Vick, Donnie, Johnny, Elizabeth and Eva-Kay; special friends, Briana (JD) Davis, Shelia Brewer, Kay Osborn, Katrina Burden and Rochelle Earnest as well as all her family in Scotland.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA with the Rev. Robert Hopson and Rev. Roger Clayton officiating. The Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service on Tuesday.
