John Ro Bolt

Mr. Bolt was born January 5, 1928 in Cleburne, AL, son of the late James Isom Bolt and Angie Huckeba Bolt. He had lived in LaGrange most of his life and attended Hilyer Baptist Church. Mr. Bolt was employed with Milliken and Company, Hillside Plant, for 47 years before retiring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Hazel Robinson Bolt and Frances Weaver Bolt.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Bolt Mitchell and her husband John of Senoia, GA; one son, John Bolt, Jr. and his wife Esther of Five Points, AL; five grandchildren, Rhonda Gilley and her husband Mike, Michele Smith and her husband Michael, Marlin Bolt and his wife Amy, Rocky Bolt and his wife Misty, and Johnny Buford Bolt and his wife Jennifer; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Letha Moat and Opal Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Cleve Moore and Reverend Howard Longshore officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
