John "Jack" Lawrence Cox III

“Jack” as he was affectionately known, was born December 26, 1961 in Cotati, CA, son of Ruth I. Miner Cox and the late John Lawrence Cox, II. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was an Auto Mechanic with Tech Tires. He enjoyed fishing and traveling when time allowed and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Mundine Cox; children, John L. “Jack” Cox, IV, David E. Cox and Jennifer C. (Travis) Tate; Grandson, Brantley L. Tate; siblings, Nina A. Carver (Greg Noose), Brenda Gale, and Brian P. Cox; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00am Saturday, November 19, 2022 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Esophageal Cancer Research.
