Mr. Faulkner was born September 18, 1944 in Henderson, NC, son of the late John H. Faulkner and Emma Louise Greenway Faulkner. He was a member of Loyd Presbyterian Church and was employed with Duracell as the manufacturing manager before retiring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Mitchell Faulkner.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Faulkner (Stan Stanfill); niece, Meredith Faulkner Moore; and companion of 12 years, Marjorie Knipp; and granddogs, Jenni and Aking.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Loyd Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Tony Dean officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
