Julia, Ginny & Kate first let me express my stunned but profound condolences and my prayers for comfort which can only be realized through The Great Comforter in His time.

Next, you may recall John and I worked rather closely for several years. The coordination of our roles even had us travel together on a couple of occasions. When we went to California to sister company, Bentley, we were “sightseeing” the area a bit before nightfall and looking for a place to eat. Keep in mind this was long before GPS, John was driving and I was navigating with paper map. We must have crossed Santa Monica Blvd. six different times - each one breaking us into riotous laughter and that one phrase of song “till the sun comes up on Santa Monica Blvd”. That was probably about 1998...and never once have I heard that song that I haven’t remembered what a fun, silly time we had.

I will always remember him calling Julia every afternoon she worked, to ask what he needed to do about their supper. Was so sweet!

I Will always remember, helping John in the kitchen at church, for Wednesday night bible study. He was a amazing, patient person, and a great cook. What a beautiful family he has. John you will be missed so much, by so many.
