To the Turner Family,

I am so saddened to hear this news. Jud was a very well liked member of our pledge class at GSU. We were close friends and I have many fond memories with him. He had a kind soul and will be missed dearly. Prayers for the Turner family in this hard time.

My husband and I were very sad to hear about Judson. I met Judson in 2015 when he was looking to hire high school students to work at the farm. Judson interviewed and hired a few of our students over the years. He was always patient with and kind to them, even when they made mistakes. After an incident with one student, Judson laughed with me about some of the “wild things” teenagers do. He said he remembered those days too. My husband grew up with Judson, and years later when I met my husband, I was happy to learn about their friendship. Suddenly, Judson’s reference to the “wild things” teenagers do made more sense to me. My husband speaks fondly about his memories with Judson, using words like kind, quiet, and witty to describe him. Our prayers remain with Judson’s family, friends, and especially with his children during this most difficult time. He was a good man, and he will be missed.
