Judy B. Eyer, 77, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength. A retired school teacher, Judy dedicated her life to shaping young minds, nurturing others, and making a lasting difference in the lives of those she encountered.
She had a deep love for animals and found great joy in the outdoors. Whether running 5Ks or competing in dock-diving events with her beloved dogs, Sally and Rosie, Judy embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. She was also a cherished member of her book club and an active, faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia. She was known for her infectious smile.
Above all else, Judy loved her family deeply. She gave endlessly—often even when nothing was needed, she gave anyway. Her generous heart, steady presence, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who knew her. Her generosity was truly inspiring; she often said she wanted to be Santa Claus.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Eyer; her children, Sandy Loomes (Jeffrey), Darin Capes (Jennifer), Sean Czik, Tara Pittman (Jeff), and Joshua Eyer; her sister, Jeanne Glover; her grandchildren, Brandon Czik, Maggie Hobbs (Randy), Dawson Loomes (Harley), Kenzie Loomes, Jackson Capes, Jonathan Capes, Olivia Capes, Elisabeth Capes, William Capes, Thomas Capes, Katherine Capes, Ryan Czik, Hope Czik, Hannah Frailey (Wyatt), Lauren Tucker (Dalton), Katelyn Steele, Reagan Eyer, Brent Paul Eyer, and Islay Eyer; as well as numerous great-grandchildren: Matty Sadler, Chloe Walker, Charlie Walker, Chevy Walker, Staley Tucker, Conway Tucker, Cam Frailey, John Frailey, Jewell Frailey, Benny Frailey, Taylor Kielhofner, Brayden Hobbs, Landon, Elijah Czik; nieces—including Lori Lee Crowder, Lori Beth Foster and Anna Crawford—and extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia, on May 1st at 11:00 a.m. All whose lives she touched are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. Family will receive friends at the Parish Hall following the Memorial on Friday at 12:00-1:00.
