Kate Barnes Johnson

Kate Barnes Johnson, age 67, of West Point, Georgia passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Kate was born March 31, 1951 in LaGrange, Georgia to Barbara Barnes and Edker Barnes.

Kate is survived by her husband, Claude W. Johnson; daughter, Andrea S. Woodard; mother, Barbara Barnes; father, Edker Barnes; brother, Paul and Kristen Barnes, Cather Barnes, Chris and Brandy Barnes; sister-in-law Jacquelyn A. Johnson; granddaughter, Alexandra Grace Woodyard, Addisyn Faith Woodard, nephew, Will Barnes, Michael Barnes, niece, Katie Barnes, nephew, Jordan Barnes, Miles and Lori Barnes.

The Gathering of Family and Friends for Kate will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. A celebration of life service will be Friday, November 16, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Meadoway Garden Cemetery.
