Kathie grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Towers High School. Her schooling then continued at Auburn University. She graduated from Auburn University in 1979 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Family and Children’s Services. She was a Lambda Chi Alpha little sister.
After graduation, she worked as a flight attendant for EASTERN Airlines. She was then promoted to be an inflight supervisor and continued working for Eastern eleven years. Her stories about the days at Eastern were always told with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She still kept in touch with many friends from her “Eastern days”. Kathie served as the office manager for Strifler Hamby Mortuary for six years, and her last job was with Concentrix as an online support specialist.
Kathie was a determined, intelligent lady who was tenacious in her beliefs. She fought diligently for what she believed. She had hundreds of patriot friends who together, in love, sought truth in Jesus, politics, and health. God knitted together this band of friends who supported each other. She is remembered as a shining light for Jesus who kindly encouraged others. She will be tremendously missed. WWG1WGA
