Kenneth Paul Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan was born July 13, 1956 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Walter Roy Kaplan and Ethel Zielinski Kaplan. He was formerly employed with Ray Gassaway Construction Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Kaplan.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Kaplan; four children, Natasha Kaplan, Mercedes Kaplan Pike and her husband Chris, Chasity Kaplan, and Shyanne Kaplan; one grandchild, Aiden Pike; siblings, Mary Bachara, Gregory Kaplan, Susan Ligocki, Fred Kaplan, Helen Mancuso, Dorothy Siegel, Annette “Shelly” Kaplan, Delores Kaplan, and John Kaplan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

To celebrate the life of Mr. Kenneth Kaplan, a memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. today, November 8, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Mr. Earl Holloway officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Program in memory of Mr. Kenneth Paul Kaplan.
