What we felt when we were frequent visitors with Faye while Windy was alive was a genuine open, friendly and welcoming environment. We would go out to eat with her and Cliff and have easy conversation. Our visitations came to an end upon Windy’s passing. To her credit, Faye tried to keep in touch and we did meet on occasion. But, it became difficult due to the physical distance and John’s new life. But, Faye never stopped keeping tabs on our son John. She seemed to relish in his accomplishments and, via Facebook, spent lots of time viewing and complimenting the kids and their endeavors. That was gracious of her in many ways and well appreciated.

Mrs. Faye and this entire family were so much a part of my wonderful years growing up in LaGrange. There are too many incredibly special memories to pick any one that stands out. I cherish them all. My deepest sympathy to Missy, April, Cliff and all who loved her so. I rejoice that Windy got to welcome her beloved Mom forever home.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Rainey and the family. Faye was such a good person and I enjoyed being with her. She could be funny or serious. She loved her family and Cliff. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Faye and I grew up in the same community and went to the same schools and graduated from LHS in 1955. Always a good friend. My sincerest condolences to Cliff and the family.
