Larry Darden Daniel

Larry was born in Franklin, Georgia on December 14, 1953, to Darden and Grace Daniel. He attended Troup High School and upon graduating, proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1972-1975. He then graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College and Valdosta State College where he earned a bachelor's degree in business. He also earned a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and Theology at Beacon College.

Larry worked as a certified public accountant and certified financial planner for 45 years in LaGrange, Ga eventually founding his own practice in 2019 where he faithfully served his clients until his passing. He was currently serving on the board of directors for Bridges of Hope Rehab Center. He served on many other local and national boards during his professional life.

Larry enjoyed working on his farm, running his sawmill, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and joy he brought to others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Phillip Darden Daniel.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley and her husband Glenn Towler; daughter, Laura and her husband Glen Major; Six grandsons: Mason Towler, Luke Towler, and Jacob Towler, Ladd Major, Levi Major, and baby boy Major arriving this fall; His former wife Ann Daniel with whom he shared 41 years, all of LaGrange, Ga; Sister, Becky and her husband Jim Ramsey of Hendersonville, NC. Along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous special friends.

The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, from 12:00-1:00pm with the celebration of life immediately following at 1:00pm in the chapel at Striffler-Hamby.

Burial will follow at a later date.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made in memory of Larry to the Self Help Harbor of LaGrange, or to the Bridges of Hope Rehab Center
