Lois took care of people and matters. Her Dad lived with her and Arnold a number of years and he required much help. She lovingly cared for Arnold as his health declined. She served at the church in East Point in many Presbyterian Women roles, a primary Sunday School teacher, and the great undertaking of supervising the kitchen. She also served as an elder on session and sang soprano in the choir. For I suppose well over ten years, Lois was the head person for meals during the weekly Wednesday night suppers, a program of weekly Bible studies which impacted many of us participants. She also volunteered at the Christian City ice cream parlor. What a servant Lois was and a model for us. Thank you for your devotion. King James Version 2000 pays tribute to her: Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
