Margaret Maddox

Mrs. Maddox was born November 30, 1921, in LaGrange, GA to the late Paul S. Fleeth and Irene Ward Fleeth. She received her BA Degree from LaGrange College and taught in the LaGrange School System. Mrs. Maddox was a member of First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange. She enjoyed her Bridge Club and was a long time member of Highland Country Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Maddox, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula Thurman; son, Charles C. (Carol) Maddox, Jr.; grandchildren, Cameron Thurman, Asa Thurman, and Carter Thurman; one great grandchild, Kayleigh Thurman; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Dr. Douglas DeCelle and Dr. Bill Conine officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange or West Georgia Hospice in memory of Mrs. Margaret Maddox.
