Ellen was born on November 13, 1932 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late Russell Murphy and Sarah Teaver Murphy. She was a lifelong member of Loyd Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Molly Darden Circle. Ellen will be truly missed by those who knew her, especially her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wright; siblings, Carlton Murphy, Peggy Hill, Barbara Perdue and Frankie Grogan.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Jimbo) Foster; grandson, Zack (Jayme) Ogles; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Lexa Ogles; sister, Mary (Bob) Stewart of Huntsville, AL, along with many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 10:00am Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Loyd Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Rick Threadgill officiating.
