Thoughts and prayers during this time. He always had a smile on his face and when he visited my grandmother Lottie Bishop Childree she to always had one on hers. I loved hearing her talk about him she was so proud of his accomplishments. He carried a light that touched others instantly. He will be greatly missed.

To the Family of Tony Bishop, I am so sorry for your loss. Tony was the type of friend that you only make once in a lifetime. I am blessed to have known him. Years ago I met Tony and we talked, he told me about his business of the Cart Barn Grill. I asked him if he had a Facebook for the Cart Barn Grill and he told me he did not. I told him I would create one for it. That was the start of a great friendship. We often text, talked on the phone and messaged on Facebook. I will truly miss my friend Tony until the day I meet up with him again in Haven. Rest-In-Peace my friend.

We’ve only known Tony for the last 3 ½ years that we’ve been in LaGrange. From the first day that we walked into the Cart Barn, Tony made us feel so welcome and made us feel like we were old friends. From that day on we considered and still do, the Cart Barn the best LaGrange has. Tony had a knack for making people feel special and for putting smiles on everyone’s faces. Not to mention the best darn Chef around.

Tony’s untimely passing is Heaven’s gain and LaGrange’s loss. He will always be a part of our LaGrange life and he will never be forgotten.

To Shawn and the entire family as well as the Cart Barn family, we are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Being out at Boy Scout Road with Tony for a number of years, it was always great to stop and talk with Tony. He was always an upbeat, positive, kind guy with a determined personality. It did my heart good to know that he was dating a former student of mine from LC, Beth Stein and glad to hear they considered each other soul mates. Tony is in the Lord's hands now and I will remember his smile.

Beth, may the Lord bless you and keep you, as well as bring comfort to you during this time.

Best always,

Doug

My dear Kay and family. My heart aches for you all. I remember meeting your brother several times at his restaurant. He was such a warm and friendly person. I know how much you will miss him. I remember you telling us stories about growing up with Tony. Love you sweet Kay

So very sorry for your loss. I remember the days Jim would come home from the golf course with stories about "hamburger" and "hot dog" or either "bass" and "brim" and keep me in laughter mode for hours. When he finally realized they were twins and he wasn't speaking to the same one every time; is when he started using the nicknames. I am going to miss his cooking for sure. Prayers for the family and friends as you deal with this loss.
