Mark was born December 4, 1965 in Akron, OH, son of the late Kenneth Arden Veon and Jacqueline Swaney Veon. He proudly served his country in the United States Naval Reserves. Mark was an English Teacher at Troup High School and a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Veon.
Survivors include his sons, William Truitt Veon and Henry Jamieson Veon; his siblings, Ken Veon, Kevin Veon, and Leslie Veon; several other relatives and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society in memory of Mark Douglas Veon.
