Mary was born November 29, 1948 in West Point, GA to Ara Maude Roberts Johnson and to the late Richard Therrel Johnson.
She is survived by her sons, Nathan (Mary) Simons and Chris Townley; grandchildren, David Simons, Linda Simons, Bob Simons and Tyler Townley; great-grandchildren, Braylee Simons, Peyton Simons, Maycee Simons, Adison Knight, Adelynn Knight, Paisley Knight, Kholmun Simons and Hayden Arrington; sisters, Louise Rushing, Faye Wilson and Peggy Burgess; brother, Richard Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M Friday, September 17, 2021 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. The Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service on Friday.
