Mr. Harper was born December 26, 1939 in LaGrange to the late Lawrence Odell Harper and Frances Elizabeth Hansen Harper.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alma Jo Arrington Harper; daughters, Rhonda (Glenn) Harper Alford, Sharon (Ray) Harper and Sawyer Burgess; grandson, Zackery (Amanda) Sawyer; great-grandchildren, Jayden Baldwin, Emilia Sawyer and Elijah Sawyer; sister, Velma (Charles) Carter and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Nadine Bledsoe and Martha Parker; brothers, Jimmy “Bud” Harper and Eugene Harper.
Mr. Harper attended LaGrange First Assembly and was a member of High Point Church of God in Franklin GA.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at High Point Church of God in Franklin GA. The gathering of family and friends will be held Monday in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange GA from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
