Michael A. Willingham, 51, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Michael was born May 26, 1961 in LaGrange, son of the late Charles Jackson Willingham, Sr. and Martha “Mott” Wessinger Willingham. He had lived in LaGrange most of his life and worked for Kia in West Point.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lisa Anderson Willingham; children, Josh (Sarah) Willingham and Brittni Willingham; granddaughter, Tyleigh Willingham; sisters, Tonya (Randy) Brisky and Vicki (Johnny) Brawner; a brother, Charles Willingham, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be at 4076 Bartley Road and will gather at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. to receive friends.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Rev. James Moon officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
