Monroe, I will always remember this one time in church when I was playing the piano and singing the song, “I’ve been wade-ing in deep waters trying to get home”…..and I looked out of the corner of my eye to see you and Benny dancing across the altar, picking up those legs like y’all were high-stepping through deep waters. Well cuz, you made it home!!! Glory be to God, as you would say. I know you have seen your bride Irene. I’m sure y’all had a lovely reunion in Glory. If you see me cry, these tears are not for you but for me because I am not where you are. But one day, I hope to hear my Creator say, well done my child. You kept the faith Monroe. You ran a good race and fought a good fight so go rest high on that mountain in Glory land. I hope to see y’all when my name is called.

Thank you for being a Great man of Faith, always facing every situation with boldness and courage! You were born at a time in the world when you had to be strong, and you put your trust in the Lord to take you through your life—loving your wife and family with a giant heart and tender love and correction.

You are now covered by the hand of the Father! Rejoicing with other family members that have arrived in Glory. I am now all inspired to live my life for the Lord in the same manner you did with a burning Fire! As you would always say, Glory Be To God!
